Delaney McDonough Lima is a classically-trained portrait artist who graduated from School of Visual Arts NYC in 1998. She strives to emphasize the importance of the role pets and people have in our lives, and loves being able to capture the unique personalities of her subjects through her paintings. When she is not painting commissions, Delaney is a pre-K to 12th grade Visual Arts teacher at Lacordaire Academy in Montclair, New Jersey. Teaching art to children is just one of her many other passions. She lives with her husband, 3 children, her dog Winnie and rescue cat Charlie, in Caldwell, New Jersey.
